The National Energy Improvement Fund (NEIF) had the pleasure of hosting a contractor training event on Wednesday, Apr. 23, 2025, that featured key updates to the 0.00% energy efficiency financing programs available to Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) customers.

Effective Jan. 1, 2025, JCP&L customers who make qualifying home or building upgrades not only have access to secure fixed monthly payment financing through NEIF but can also make loan payments directly on their JCP&L electric bill.    

Members of NEIF’s Business Development team, along with other key support staff, traveled to Bridgewater, New Jersey to meet in-person with contractors and other program implementors.

Following opening remarks from NEIF’s Co-Chair and Managing Member, Peter Krajsa, Randy Bak, NEIF Senior Director – Business Development, led a brief presentation on JCP&L Residential Energy Efficiency Program Financing, highlighting the new on-bill repayment process and other changes to the program.

The session concluded with Simon Burgess, NEIF Senior Director – Commercial Business Development, taking the lead on discussing pertinent updates for the JCP&L Commercial Energy Efficiency Financing Program.
