From our family here at the National Energy Improvement Fund (NEIF) to yours, we hope you had a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving holiday! It was only fitting to keep the celebration going by introducing yet another Employee Feature profile this Friday.

Meet Matthew Brown, NEIF Co-Chair and Founder! 

Matthew has more than 25 years of experience in the energy finance and policy field. In his Co-Founder & Chair role at NEIF, he provides strategic direction to the team at large, and more specifically leads the implementation of NEIF’s commercial and rebate advance initiatives.

• Based in: Denver, Colorado
  
  
• Favorite thing about NEIF’s team: Matthew admires that everyone on the team really seems to care about what they do. Not only does NEIF close loans, but loans that are specifically for energy efficiency or for other kinds of measures that make the environment a little bit better.
  
  
• Fun fact: He is currently in the process of learning how to play the guitar — and is getting better each day! 

   

• How he Goes Greener in his everyday life:Matthew is building a new house — keeping energy efficiency in mind. A low-emissions home is the goal!

In just a few weeks, Matthew, along with the NEIF Commercial Finance team in Colorado and remote Business Development staff, will join forces at the Allentown, PA headquarters for some annual holiday meetings.
