National Energy Improvement Fund Partners With Pennsylvania Energy Development Authority to Launch Financing Program that Helps Local Governments Make Energy Efficiency Upgrades
This week, the National Energy Improvement Fund (NEIF) wrapped up its series of Pennsylvania contractor financing training events in support of the new KEEP Home Energy Loan.
Serving PA homeowners who are actively seeking efficiency upgrades, the KEEP Home Energy Loan — from NEIF and the Pennsylvania Energy Development Authority (PEDA) — provides 10-year financing to make qualifying home improvements more affordable. This loan became the first product initiated through PEDA’s Energy Accelerator Program.
Over the span of two weeks, NEIF’s Business Development team and other key support staff traveled to several regions of the state — Greater Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, Hershey, and Pittsburgh — to meet in-person with contractors interested in offering the program. With no fees to the contractor, the KEEP Home Energy Loan training series garnered over 80 registrants.
