The National Energy Improvement Fund (NEIF) Gives Back: Team Volunteer Activity Supports Local Children’s Hospitals
As a Certified B Corp™, the National Energy Improvement Fund (NEIF) values using its business as a force for good. This March, NEIF is not only participating in B Corp Month — a month-long campaign held annually to provide meaning and understanding for B Corps, as well as the certification process — but is providing its employees the opportunity to give back to surrounding communities.
A company-wide volunteer activity was organized by Jennifer Tornetta, NEIF Human Resources Business Partner, with the intent of benefiting pediatric patients in local hospitals. Team members in NEIF’s Allentown, PA office constructed bags for the Lehigh Valley Health Network, while staff in Denver, CO, assembled and donated completed bags to Denver Health Network.
Bags were designed for children of varying age ranges, including items such as crayons, coloring books, puzzle books, stickers, Playdoh, and more!
NEIF is proud to be one of nearly 10,000 Certified B Corporations across the globe committed to meeting high levels of social and environmental impact, and remains steadfast in its mission to benefit both people and planet.
