Financing for home and commercial improvements is available in New Mexico through the National Energy Improvement Fund, a Certified B Corp lender, meeting the highest standards of social and environmental impact. NEIF focuses on increasing the affordability of home and commercial energy improvements through transparent, true fixed-rate financing with no fees to the borrower and no pre-payment penalties.

Current available programs are:

  • EnergyPlus Loan – True fixed rate financing for most types of energy and resiliency home improvements
  • NEIF Commercial Energy Finance – financing for commercial, industrial and municipal energy improvements, available nationally 
  • Rebate Bridge – Advance funding to contractrors for utility and program rebates
