NEIF's Allentown Team Celebrates Earth Day 2026!

To celebrate Earth Day 2026, the team at the National Energy Improvement Fund (NEIF’s) Allentown office stepped away from their desks and came together to raise funds for reforestation efforts across the United States.

On April 22, 17 of NEIF’s employees participated in an hour-long event that combined engaging, informative Earth Day activities with friendly competition and team collaboration. Simply by showing up, the team generated 40% of total funds raised for the afternoon.

Employees were split into four teams— and the activities commenced! 

Teams rotated through a series of games including floor golf, cup stacking, and a recycling challenge. Beyond the fun and competition, the afternoon provided NEIF staff with an opportunity to reset, build connections, and engage in something meaningful.

Thanks to the participation and enthusiasm of NEIF’s four teams, the organization was able to raise $235 in support of reforestation in Pennsylvania, Montana, and other high-need regions of the country. 

Earth Day is a reminder that caring for the planet doesn’t need to be an overwhelming undertaking. Real impact can be created even in smaller, more intentional moments— and we’re proud of the NEIF team for showing up, working together, and driving real change!
